A brief tornado was reported in Crook County, Wyoming, Wednesday evening. Fire Department spotters reported the tornado at 6:23 pm, 10 miles east of Devils Tower. It was visible from Highway 24. The storm weakened quickly, and by 6:34 pm, the tornado warning was canceled. There have been no reports of damage or injuries at this time.
This was one of only two tornadoes in the country today. The other was reported near Albany, Wisconsin, and was only on the ground for one minute.
