World Cup party draws big, patriotic crowd to Valley Sports Bar

Posted:
U.S. Soccer fans are still celebrating Monday night's big 2-1 win over Ghana.

In Rapid City, fans chanted, "I believe that we will win," at a viewing party at the Valley Sports Bar.

Soccer fans were decked-out wearing red, white and blue.

The party was organized by the new Rapid City Chapter of the U.S. American Outlaws. It's a soccer supporters group with 140 chapters across the U.S.

Chapter Captain, Chad Landis said the club gives him another excuse to celebrate the sport he's been playing since he was five years old.

"This is my passion.  This is what I bleed.  I get to hang with my friends and my family, and do something we love.  I get goose bumps just talking about it.  It's what I love," Landis said.

The U.S.  World  Cup team doesn't play again until this Sunday when it meets Portugal.
