Strider moves to a new building in Rapid City

Strider, the manufacturer of children's no pedal balance bikes, has a new space. The new 26,000 square foot corporate office and distribution center is at North Plaza Drive in Rapid City.

On Friday a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to celebrate. The facility is almost twice as big as the previous one. The company started in 2007. Ryan McFarland, the Strider Founder, says they needed more room to fit their thirty employees, and they recently added more employees.

"It's been fun to see it grow. To take something that was just a project in my garage on a Saturday afternoon to something this large, employs this many people," said McFarland.

The grand opening of the Strider Nature Trail will be Saturday at 10 a.m. on the corner of Omaha and Mountain View Road.
