Discovering the Dinosaurs brings moving dinos to Rapid City

They move, they growl, and they're life-size.
Dinosaurs took over the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Saturday for 'Discover the Dinosaurs.'

This traveling exhibit made its way to Rapid City for the first time this weekend. Lyon Keasler, an employee, says it took two full days to set up the exhibit, which features 20 moving dinosaurs, some bouncy houses, face painting, fossil-digging, and more. "We try to set it up so that we have - the kids are hopefully our primary focus, but we also want the adults to come in and say, to kinda have the parents have their eyes open a little bit and say 'wow this is actually pretty cool,' said Keasler.

Each dinosaur has a sign that provides a name with a quick biography, but one adorable kid is sticking to his favorite dino. "I love the T-Tex, I always love the T-Rex," said Johnathan Bainer, a five-year-old. "He's big; he's always big."
Discovering the Dinosaurs runs for the last day Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
