Evidentiary hearing set for alleged Rapid City kidnapper

As many as 10 witnesses, including the victim, are expected to testify in an evidentiary hearing for the Rapid City man involved in South Dakota's first Amber Alert of the year.

Skye Burnham-Endicott, 27, faces a possible life sentence for the alleged kidnapping of his children and the assault of their mother.
Tuesday, Seventh Circuit Court Judge Janine Kern set a hearing where the state plans to call at least four witnesses, and the defense may call up to six, some who will be coming from Nebraska.

Because it will likely take all day, the hearing couldn't be scheduled until July 1st.
