CPA office fire in Spearfish deemed arson

The State Fire Marshal's Office has concluded that the fire in the Hoggatt CPA office building located at 717 Fifth Street was deliberately set.

The building suffered approximately $200,000 in damage during the February fire.

Spearfish Police Detectives are continuing to investigate this matter and are asking for any assistance the public can provide.

A cash reward fund has been established for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
