Black Hills State's business school has recently received one of the most prestigious accreditation in the world, giving their business students quite the edge on the competition.
Just 711 business schools world- wide have the 'Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business' accreditation. Black Hills State is now added to that list.
Administrators say this elite recognition will help them draw in more business students and give their students more opportunities to advance in the business world. "The reason we are doing this is for the students, at the end of the day its about them. And being able to graduate from Black Hills State with a quality business program at the undergraduate, as well as the master's level with our MBA program," said Dr. Priscilla Romkema, dean of the business school.
Only 5% of the business schools in the world have this accreditation.
