Homeslice Media Group buys KKLS and KBHB

Homeslice Media Group of Sturgis has purchased two local radio stations from Rushmore Media.

KBHB in Sturgis and Rapid City's KKLS will now be owned and operated by Dean Kinney, Clint Brengle, and Mark Bruch.

Schurz Communication, the parent company of Rushmore Media, sold the stations as part of an agreement with the federal communications commission when KOTA Territory television was acquired by Rushmore Media late last month.

The sale, which is pending FCC approval, is expected to close this summer.
