A new Pita Pit in Rapid City hosted a Job fair Wednesday where owners hoped to find qualified employees.
The restaurant chain was founded in 1995 on the idea of offering a fresh alternative to traditional fast food choices, serving lean, grilled meats, fresh vegetables, sauces, and cheeses.
The company has more than 400 restaurants across North America, and are ranked number 119 on Entrepreneur Magazine's Franchise 500.
Tim Smith, Co-Owner of the Rapid City's Pita Pit, said he hopes to contribute 20 new jobs to the community.
"We think down town needs more choices as far as a fast, healthier option for lunch. We look to have a variety of people part time, full time, seasonal, daytime, and nighttime," said Smith.
The new restaurant opens May 19th. Another job fair is scheduled for Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm.
