The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for information regarding the whereabouts of two hunters who have been missing in the Deerfield area since Sunday afternoon.

The hunters, Gary Wipf, 74,  and Clifford  Wipf, 83,  were last seen turkey hunting on Forest Service Rd 117 5D. Their vehicle is a red 2004 Toyota SR5 shortbed pickup truck with topper, SD license plate 2NP 924.

Gary Wipf is 5’6”  190 lbs, bald with blue eyes.
Clifford is 5’8” 160 lbs, bald with blue eyes.

Pennington County Search and Rescue along with Lawrence County Search and Rescue have been coordinating rescue efforts with the Emergency Operations Center since this morning.  The search has been hampered by difficult weather conditions. Anyone with information is urged to please call The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office at 394-2151.
