On Easter morning people in Hill City woke to find flyers from the Klu Klux Klan in front of their homes.
Hundreds of flyers were passed out in Hill City neighborhoods alone. Several people called the Pennington County Sheriff's Office to complain.
A deputy then went to respond to this case.
Captain Jay Evenson, with the Pennington County Sheriff's Department says they have contacted the person responsible for this literature, but the person did not break any laws. Some people who live in Hill City say they were upset to receive the flyer.
"We've had contact with the individual talked to him a little bit and expressed our displeasure with their organization coming up and handing out that literature, but hopefully that will be the end of it," said Evenson.
"It is sad that people think there is a significant difference in race," said Jeff Willett, who lives in Hill City.
Back in 2012, similar flyers from the KKK were handed out in Rapid City.
