Posted:
A 20-year-old Rapid City man will stand trial for second degree rape this summer.  Tanner Spilde is facing 50 years behind bars for the alleged rape of an 18-year-old girl in December of last year.

His two day trial is scheduled to begin July 24.

A charge of second degree rape means prosecutors are accusing him of rape by force, coercion or threat of immediate bodily harm.
