KOTA Territory restaurants stayed busy with Easter brunch-goers

After attending a church service full of people, it was time for Easter brunch-goers to attend a place full of food.

At the Hotel Alex Johnson,  hungry people had their choice of typical brunch foods like waffles and omelets, but they could also opt for lunch items like chicken and fish.

Wade Lampert, hotel general manager, says a month of planning went into preparing for the event, with a week of food preparation. Lampert says nearly 500 people reserved a plate at the hotel's brunch. To accommodate, 20 more staff members were on hand to make sure the guests were fed without having to do any of the work. "The family goes to church, gets together, does an Easter egg hunt," said Lampert. "This takes the pressure off mom and grandma to have to do all the cooking."

Guests could dine in the Ballroom or the Vertex Sky Bar.
