Wine lovers take note. Firehouse Wine Cellars held its ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday and is now open to the public.
Those on hand at Thursday's event enjoyed wine tasting as well as tours of the new establishment.
All wines in stock are bottled and made in the winery at the back of the store, which is located right next to fire house brewing company. Owner, Bob Fuchs, said it was a great day and he's excited about the future of his business. "This is an exciting time for us at the firehouse wine cellars we're doing a chamber mixer today," Said Fuchs. "We have some people down here for a ribbon cutting and we're looking forward to a wonderful season and a wonderful summer and we're kicking it off right at the firehouse wine cellars."
Firehouse Wine Cellars is open seven days-a-week.
And that's not the only business venture Bob Fuchs is opening.
May 14th his fast food Italian style restaurant known as Ciao! will be opening on the corner of Main Street Square. Ciao! will serve soups sandwiches pastas as well as beers and wine.
Fuchs said that there are no other restaurants currently in the works...for now.
