A spring snow day across KOTA Territory is a needed day off

KOTA Territory received a spring time snow day Monday, and while some still had work others got the day off.

Joe Poor Thunder says it was nice having a day off from school but he couldn't train. The young boxer wanted to go for a run but opted to stay in. "Mainly just kick back relaxing watching TV, more movies actually," said Poor Thunder.

Christine Noyes, an elementary school teacher who was spending some time at Seattle's Best, says this day off was much needed. "I am excited that it was a day off because it was a nice time to be able to grade papers and get caught up and everything," said Noyes. "As much as my students miss me, and I miss them. I'll see them tomorrow."

And Kenneth Holm, a retired veteran, says he shoveled his neighbors' sidewalks for a little fresh air and exercise. "I was doing paper work and I'm not too good at that, I don't like it so I just thought I'd go out and shovel," said Holm.

Some of our Facebook followers spent their spring snow day watching baseball, cleaning and wishing for warmer weather.
