UPDATE: Interstate 90 closed from Ellsworth AFB to Wall due to accidents

Interstate 90 is CLOSED from Ellsworth Air Force Base to Wall due to accidents and limited visibility.

Interstate 90 reopened at 9:30 a.m. from Sheridan to Buffalo.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation closed I-90 from Sheridan to Buffalo around 4:45 a.m. Monday morning due to multiple truck slide offs and jack knifes in the Piney Creek area.

Crews are working to clear the roadway of these trucks and anticipate the road to re-open mid-morning.

Once the road re-opens motorists can anticipate Slick driving conditions with blowing and drifting snow and areas of limited visibility.   All roads in the Sheridan area are slick with blowing and drifting snow and limited visibility.  Motorists are reminded to slow down and play special attention.
