Deadwood gaming revenue continues to trail last year.
According to monthly data released from the South Dakota Commission on Gaming, February revenues fell four percent.
Despite the tough month, Gaming Association Executive Director, Mike Rodman says there is light at the end of the tunnel.
He says the newly approved regulatory changes, which include the addition of new games such as craps, roulette and keno, should bolster revenue.
He says he is confident in Deadwood's positive growth following the assessment of consultant Roger Brooks and the formation of the Deadwood Revitalization Committee.
Rodman says the harsh winter conditions are to blame for the drop in February. The bad weather during the Mardi Gras celebration in particular.
