Box Elder couple face charges after shooting at guest in their home

Two people were arrested after allegedly firing gunshots into a Box Elder mobile home Tuesday afternoon.

It happened just after 4:00 in the Plainsview Manor mobile home park off of Westgate Road in Box Elder.  Neighbors reported hearing at least 4 shots fired.

The occupants inside the home were not injured. Police found several spent shell casings in the vicinity.

A white minivan with no license plates, reportedly driven by a woman with one passenger was seen fleeing the area. Two suspects were later found and arrested in Rapid Valley about an hour later.

The Pennington County Sheriff's Office says 36-year-old Shawn Mousseau and his 35-year-old wife, Michaela, face aggravated assault charges. They are accused of firing several shots at a guest in their mobile home, 57-year-old Leonard Maralez.

No one was injured, but two bullets hit a neighboring mobile home and nearly struck a 13-year-old inside.
