Physician Annette Bosworth made a stop at the Rapid City Chamber of Commerce, as part of her campaign for US Senate.
On Friday at a Chamber ribbon cutting ceremony, she told the group her number one priority is healthcare.
She says due to her direct experience in the field she would know how to improve healthcare for the country. She says despite the fact the Senate race is crowded, she has a lot of support.
"I have had unbelievable grassroots in contributions over 21,000 people have contributed to my campaign and the average contribution is $45. That's incredible," said Bosworth.
Bosworth said the only PAC money she's received has been from South Dakota doctors.
