Northern Hills get another snowstorm overnight

By Barrett Phillips

People who live in Deadwood got out early Tuesday to shovel snow that was left behind from Monday night's storm.

Road conditions were treacherous in some areas, although the snow made for some great scenery in the Black Hills.

Deadwood got 11 inches of snow.  "Needless to say, we didn't need any more moisture. We've had plenty this past year and if I recollect correctly this is right around my 49th time shoveling for this winter season," said Mark Speir Resident of Deadwood.

People in Deadwood are used to seeing snow and are used to pulling together to make a snowy day go smoother. "We appreciate all of our customers that have taken the time to clear out their sidewalks and pass by the mail boxes to make it safe for us so we can make sure that they get their mail on time," said Anthony Goodson, a U.S. Mail Carrier.
