Rapid City restaurants bring in St. Patrick's Day with traditional Irish food and beer

St. Patrick's Day is a day for restaurant's to get away from the ordinary food and drink options.

Murphy's Pub in downtown Rapid City is steaming up some classic Irish dishes just for this occasion. Corned beef and cabbage was on the menu Monday. The corned beef was poached in Guinness beer then baked for 12 to 16 hours. It was then served with a side of cabbage, potatoes and steamed carrots.

Some other Rapid City restaurants that are having St. Patrick's Day specials are Paddy O'Neill's, Minerva's and Thirsty's.
