People in Sheridan were given their first look at the newest addition to a local landmark Monday.
The plastic was taken off for the WYO Theater's new building, which houses a black box theatre and expanded lobby.
Not all renovation work is finished, but should wrap up this spring.
About $5 million went into this project, $2 million from grants and the rest from a capital campaign.
Theater supporters say it was money well spent after getting their first look at the new façade.
"It's been under plastic for so long and we've tied up traffic for so long on main street. I think everyone on main street will be delighted not only to have their traffic lane back, but then to have this beautiful new façade," said capital campaign co-chairman Kandi Davis.
Davis says the traffic lane will fully re-open later this month, because there is still some concrete work to do on the sidewalk.
