AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On January 30, 2014, Catapult Systems held its annual System Center Universe (SCU) to record attendance numbers around the globe.  The live event was hosted in Houston, TX and streamed live to 4000 worldwide attendees from 41 states and 52 countries watching virtually or from simulcast viewing parties.  Participants tuned in to view the full day of content presented by the upper echelon of talent in the areas of Microsoft System Center, Windows Azure IaaS, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8.1. 

Through social media, all of the attendees were able to interact with each other in real time and made #SCU2014 a trending topic on twitter.  SCU has made a strong impression on the SMUG community and continues to act as an all-inclusive opportunity to share knowledge and experience community interaction.

Plans and preparations are underway for next year's SCU which will be held at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas on February 4, 2015, which will include many of this year's presenters in addition to two full breakout tracks to provide attendees with even more content.  Additionally, the popular SCU Network will continue to grow and push out relevant content up until the event.
