Accused child kidnapper makes initial court appearance

The man who  police say brutally beat a woman, kidnapped their shared children and threatened to kill them made his first court appearance Friday morning.
Via closed circuit television, 27-year-old Skye Burnham Endicott or "Eddie Little" appeared before Magistrate Judge Scott Bogue. Little is charged with aggravated assault, first degree kidnapping and two counts of second degree kidnapping, charges that carry a maximum sentence of life in prison plus 45 years.
He was taken into custody Thursday morning, roughly nine hours after police say he kicked, stabbed and strangled the mother of his children, kidnapped the two babies and threatened to kill them.

Before a $500,000 cash surety bond was set and a no contact order was issued, Little told Judge Bogue, "I would never hurt my children."
A preliminary hearing will be scheduled unless the state can indict little through a grand jury.
