The hats, the horses, the crowd; one special boy loves everything about the rodeo. And Wednesday night Tucker Varns got a front row seat.
Tucker was diagnosed with congestive heart failure when he was a baby. He's had four open-heart surgeries and four pacemaker surgeries and he is only 15.
The Children's Western Wish Foundation called Tucker and asked if he wanted to go The Black Hills Stock Show's Saddle Bronc Match, and you could say he was excited. "He loves rodeos, he loves clowns, the bull riding, the broncs, all of that," said Dixie Varns, Tucker's mother. "So he's been floating since he found out."
"I love horses," said Tucker. "I like riding."
Tucker was also given a behind-the-scenes look at how the cowboys get ready, and he got to meet some of the champions.
