Could the Denver Broncos making it to Met Life Stadium for Super Bowl XLVIII, impact the attendance at the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo?
According to General Manager, Ron Jeffries, it's only a slight impact at most.
Jeffries says Sunday was a transitional day at the Stock Show, meaning horse activities finished up early, and they're only preparing for cattle activities which aren't until Monday.
He says with the game being in the late afternoon, many of the activities and vendors were wrapping up by kickoff.
Jeffries says one of the two teams involved may have given people more of a reason to get to their Super Bowl parties a little earlier.
"Obviously we prefer to have Baltimore or the Tennessee Titans or Tampa Bay or somebody, from a Stock Show perspective," said Jeffries. "Personally we're excited to see the Broncos play."
Big time Broncos fan, Shawnee Wordy says her sister was competing in the 2X Rodeo and had the game been earlier, she wouldn't have known what to do.
"First of all I would have cried," said Wordy. "I probably would have got it on TV onto my phone or something and watch my sister at the same. I wouldn't have been able to do it."
