Rapid City police investigate casino robbery, clerk pepper sprayed


Rapid City police are investigating a robbery on Mount Rushmore Road.

It happened at 9:30 p.m. Thursday night at 1808 Mount Rushmore Road, the Rushmore Casino.

Officers responded to the scene and found the clerk had been pepper sprayed.  The suspect had left the scene prior to police arriving.  

The suspect was described as a slender Native American male, 6', wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head and dark sunglasses.  He was described as having a 4-5 inch "stringy" goatee and long black hair. 

The suspect left the business with an undisclosed amount of money.
