A KOTA Territory Chamber of Commerce says thank you to 7 individuals for their contributions to the community.
The Rapid City Chamber of Commerce hosted its 20th Annual Chamber Awards Celebration with the presentation of 3 major awards.
Scull Construction was the recipient of the Granite Award, which goes a local business that is a solid asset to the community.
The ATHENA award, won by Renee Parker of the United Way, recognizes a person who has assisted women in the development of professional and leadership skills.
Chamber President/CEO Linda Rabe says she is proud that the chamber has the opportunity to recognize those who serve the community, "We love the community and it's always fun to honor those people who love the community as much as we do, because it takes those types of people to make rapid city the wonderful community it is."
Also honored with the Rushmore Honors Award for their contributions to culture and the arts were Tammy Barrows, Bruce Knowles, Michael and Marc Linn and Dan Seftner.
