The Daisy House adult care facility in Rapid City will close at the end of the month because of financial issues.
The Daisy House has been serving the disabled community for nearly 74 years.
The 20 employees from the Rapid City Daisy House will be moved to other facilities in the area. The clients who used the facility will be transitioned to the Western Resources for Disabled Independents facility in Rapid City.
The non profit is a part of the South Dakota CARES network of
disability care programs.
