Soap from KOTA Territory hotels will be given to those in need

Posted:

It is all part of the Bubbles for Humanity Project. Soap from KOTA Territory hotels was collected for those in need, and on Thursday it was sent off with the help of the Mount Rushmore Mascots.

The mascots loaded boxes of soap in a truck. The soap will be sent to Atlanta where people from the Global Soap Project will reprocess it. The soap will then be shipped all over the world to developing countries.

"It's a small way, a life saving way that our Black Hills partners are making a difference and the Black Hills and Badlands Tourism Association is just privileged to be at the center of collecting this soap and getting it to where it makes a difference," said Nort Johnson, President and CEO of Black Hills and Badlands Tourism Association.

The mascots will arrive in Atlanta on Monday, January 13, to deliver the soap.
