A trial date is set for a Rapid City man accused of trying to kill another man. William LeClaire, 28, is charged with one count of attempted first degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
The charges stem from an August incident where LeClaire allegedly stabbed Russell Faulk at the Price Motel on Rapid City's East North Street. Both men were living at the motel at the time.
On Thursday morning, his trial was set for January 21st. It is scheduled for two days, but prosecutors don't expect it will take that long.
LeClaire faces a maximum of up to 25 years in prison if convicted
