'Do Big Things.'
That's the newest logo for the Rapid City Visitor's Bureau, inviting both tourists and locals to get out there and do more in the Black Hills.
The logo is presented as a mural in art alley. The design is a creation by Tyler Read.
Stacie Granum, director of marking at the Visitor's Bureau, says staff at the Bureau chose the slogan as a way to encourage dreamers, families, and thrill-seekers to say 'yes' to all there is to do in KOTA Territory.
Granum says she wants people to look at the logo and think about what they can do here that's big to them. "It could be something really little to a family, or something huge to an individual, but we want them to stop and think about doing something big while they're here on vacation, or just visiting for a convention, or even local residents," said Granum. "It's about that emotion."
Read's design was the first and only design he presented to the Bureau before being chosen.
