Spearfish city officials seek bidders for demolition of TMone

Months after the TMone building in Spearfish collapsed during the early October storm, employees are close to finding out when they'll have a new roof over their head.

Spearfish Mayor Dana Boke says the city is seeking bids for demolition of the $41 million call center.

Boke says they are awaiting final decisions from TMone's insurance carrier to determine whether the area the building was constructed must be retained.

In the meantime, city officials are moving ahead with plans for a new city-owned building that would house TMone's call center as well as a business incubator.

The demolition team will be revealed on January 17th, 2014.

TMone employees are currently working out of Spearfish's Rec Center.
