Accused KOTA Territory kidnapper pleads not guilty


A KOTA Territory man pleads not guilty to kidnapping, burglary and drug charges. Joshua Peacock  was arraigned in Seventh Circuit court Monday morning.  He's facing two counts of kidnapping, burglary, simple assault and ingestion of an unauthorized controlled substance.

According to police,  Peacock broke into a north Rapid City home, and forced a woman into his car and then made her drive to Walmart to get him some money.  She was able to get away unharmed.  The other kidnapping victim is a juvenile.
