With the temperatures rising, people are still finding ways to enjoy the snow before it all melts.
Both kids and adults, spent the day enjoying themselves in the snow by building snow men and feeding their need for speed on snowboards, discs and the more traditional sleds on the hill behind Meadowbrook Elementary.
Despite the softened soil and slush, it's giving friends and family the chance to enjoy one more day of each other's company by getting out and enjoying the weather.
Trent Reub and his friends came out to squeeze out a few extra runs before the holiday break ends, saying, "It's warm but there is still snow on the ground so you can just have a T–shirt on and have fun".
Floyd Mabbitt brought his 3 year old son Ashton for his first time sledding, "Santa Claus brought our son a sled for Christmas so he wanted to go check it out. We knew about the little hill here, but if it didn't have enough snow, we would have taken him up in the Hills".
