$1M cash-only bond set in Gillette murder case

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) _ A judge has set a $1 million cash-only bond in the case of a 21-year-old man charged in a fatal shooting in Gillette, Wyoming on Thanksgiving.
The Gillette News Record reports Todd Sindelar has been returned to Campbell County after spending several weeks in a South Dakota jail.
Police say a woman called 911 around 4 a.m. on November 28th and said someone had knocked at their door and shot her boyfriend, 25-year-old Matthew Boyer. Police say Boyer and Sindelar had been involved in a dispute earlier about rent.
Later on the day of the shooting, authorities in South Dakota spotted a vehicle possibly linked to the crime. Police say Sindelar fled the South Dakota Highway Patrol at up to 120 miles per hour.
Sindelar is charged with first-degree murder.
