After an overwhelming number of toy donations, one KOTA Territory city is looking for more kids in need this holiday season.
Box Elder city officials began a community Angel Tree program a few years ago to collect toys for local children.
This year, after generous donations from community members and the Belle Starr Gentleman's Club, there were 150 toys collected. But, there were only 35 children signed up for the program.
City workers are now looking for local kids in need.
"Right now we're asking Box Elder residents to look around their neighborhood know any kid that they think may not get a toy on Christmas morning we're going to offer those toys to them first," said Tanya Sheperski, Information Officer of the City of Box Elder.
