Young ice skaters had a chance to showcase their hard work and raise money. The Black Hills Figure Skating Club hosted their 11th annual Winter Showcase Sunday. The money from ticket sales goes toward sending the girls to competitions and booking ice space. And it's fundraisers like this that will keep these girls doing what they enjoy.
"I like making people happy. If I can make someone happy if they're sad, I'll try," said 12 year old Cassidy Ripka.
"Just performing in front of people it's really just makes me happy and like I don't know I'm just really comfortable in front of people," said 10 year old Paige Wickersham.
"I just try not to not to think about the crowd and I like maybe look for my family if they're out there and I just like skating," said nine year old Riley Bock.
The fundraiser also included a silent auction.
