Rapid City man indicted on 2 counts of kidnapping

Kidnapping cases in KOTA Territory are uncommon, but prosecutors say a Rapid City man kidnapped two people in one day.  This week a Pennington County grand jury indicted Joshua Peacock, 28, on two counts of kidnapping, burglary, simple assault and ingestion of an unauthorized controlled substance.
According to police, Peacock broke into a north Rapid City home, and forced a woman into his car and then made her drive to Wal-mart to get him some money.  She was able to get away unharmed.  The other kidnapping victim is younger than 18.
State's Attorney Mark Vargo declined to comment on the specifics of her kidnapping, in part because she is juvenile.
