People in Rapid City get haircuts and give back

On Wednesday people could get inexpensive haircut and also give back at the same time. It was part of the Headlines Academy KOTA Care and Share Drive Cut-a-thon.

When people donated a food item, cosmetology students, who are supervised, cut hair for $2.99.

Students also donate all their tips to help support the KOTA Care and Share Food Drive.

"It's just a great way for us to establish that rapport within the community. It's helping those in need at the holiday time and it just really gets a lot of people in our doors to see what we have going on here at our school," said Cricket Rick, of Headlines Academy.
