A Gillette man charged with murder was arrested in South Dakota over the weekend.
21–year–old Todd Michael Sindelar was charged with one count of first degree murder.
Gillette Police found 25–year–old Matthew Ryan Boyer after he was shot early Thursday morning. Boyer was taken to Campbell County Memorial Hospital where he pronounced dead. Sindelar fled and was caught near Chamberlain, South Dakota.
He made his initial court appearance Monday in South Dakota for charges of aggravated eluding and reckless driving.
Sindelar is currently held in the Brule County Jail.
Sindelar will have an extradition hearing on December 16. He will also have a preliminary hearing that day for the aggravated eluding and reckless driving charges.
