A Monday morning fire forced multiple Rapid City residents from their homes.
Fire crews were dispatched to 506 East Jackson Street just after 8 a.m.
When they arrived, they discovered a shed behind a home on fire. The flames then spread to two neighboring homes.
The fire was quickly extinguished, leaving the two homes and a fence singed.
Low-lying power lines could have been the cause. Black Hills Power was called to scene.
No one was hurt.
