Update:

The Rapid City Police Department and Pennington County Sheriff's Office are investigating the homicide of Damien Lee, a 13-month-old Rapid City boy.

At 3 a.m. on Nov. 9, police were called to a residence on the 100 block of Signal Drive for a child that wasn't breathing. Officers and paramedics responded, and found the child deceased.

An autopsy was performed earlier this week, and preliminary results indicate the boy's cause of death to be blunt force trauma. The boy's mother, Lacquette Lee, age 20, and the boy's father, Joshua Bowker, age 21, were at the home along with a friend at the time of his death. No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is continuing.
