People in Rapid City react to the Affordable Care Act

The Affordable Care Act is what people are talking about. Some say the healthcare changes are not very clear.

Kevin Hwang initially thought he would benefit from the changes, but now he's not so sure.

"That was my general perspective that as a small business owner my insurance costs would be lowered, but I don't know if that's true. My friend tells me I'm misinformed about that," said Hwang.

Others said they are not excited about the changes.

"Well, I think it's unfortunate that a lot of people are going to lose their healthcare they were promised they were going to keep. I don't think it's fair to them," said Chad Lewis.

Lewis said it was a good plan, but it didn't work.

"Healthcare is obviously a fundamental need for most people. So I think it's obviously a good idea we just need to go about it in a different way," said Lewis.

Some people hope it will all get figured out soon.

"The public is very upset about it right now, and hopefully they'll get it straightened out.
