University Center in Rapid City names new executive director

Posted:

The University Center in Rapid City has a new executive director. Gene Bilodeau replaces Craig Johnson who was fired in September for embezzling money from an academic association.

Bilodeau is currently Vice President of the Craig Campus for Colorado Northwestern Community College.  He will take over the post from Dr. Sidney Goss, who is serving as interim dean for the UC-RC.

"I wish to express appreciation to Dr. Goss, who has served in an exemplary manner for the last several months. I look forward to working with Mr. Bilodeau as we continue to serve the needs of the region at the University Center," said BHSU President Kay Schallenkamp.

Goss said he believes Bilodeau's vision and talents will serve the students of South Dakota well. "I have enjoyed my time at the University Center and am very pleased to have a person of Gene's talents and experience join the great team at the UC-RC.
