A Keystone family loses a home on their property right before new renovations were completed.
This home on Greyhound Gulch Road east of Keystone is a total loss.
The homeowner declined to be on camera but says she lives in a separate home on the property, and were renovating the house that burnt.
She says her relatives were staying inside while working on it, and lost all their belongings.
Keystone Fire Chief Lance Enright says they received a call just before noon with reports of flames coming from the roof.
He says when they arrived on scene the home was fully engulfed, "It was just a one room bunkhouse with no electricity or anything. It was just a bunkhouse for guests. At the time there were people staying in it but no one was home."
No one was hurt in the fire and the cause is still under investigation.
