Going to a winery for beer? It's a growing trend right here in South Dakota.
One year ago, Naked Winery began brewing beer and serving it for tastings and production.
Robert Livingston, a co-owner of Naked Winery, says tourists were asking for locally brewed beer and now, Naked Winery's production is popular among the people who stop by.
Prairie Berry winery is also jumping into brewing beer. Livingston says this will bring more people to both wineries. "I think the more the merrier. It becomes more of a destination, 'hey there's two breweries let's check them out.' It goes hand in hand with wine," said Livingston.
Prairie Berry will open 'Miner Brewing Company'* November 11 near Hill City. It is expected to serve 10 types of beer.
