New creatures got in touch with old ones as kids dressed up for 'A night in the Museum,' put on by the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
Kids were asked questions, played games, painted fossils, and excavated chocolate chip cookies. All of this was to get kids to learn about dinosaurs, archeology, prehistoric mammals, and rocks.
Kids weren't the only ones ready for Halloween, as the museum volunteers dressed up as well.
A 'Night in the Museum' lasted from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
