Knecht Home Center on the mend following the blizzard

A long time KOTA Territory business is still 'on the mend' following the blizzard.

The heavy snow caused a portion of the roof at Knecht Home Center on Omaha street to collapse onto a main water artery.

This caused the store to flood with more than 500,000 gallons of water.

The store lost more than $400,000 dollars in inventory and has been closed since as repairs are being made to get the store back up and running.

Knecht Home Center's Bryan Rice says they are grateful for the public's patience, "I just want to tell our customers & employees a whole big thanks because we've been here, we are here & we will be here and we'll get through this and just want to thank you all for putting up with this big inconvenience." He also stated that they are optimistic they will have the store re-opened by their target date, the day after Thanksgiving.
