Winter wonderland on S Canyon Drive - KOTA Territory News

Winter wonderland on S Canyon Drive

Posted:

KOTA Territory News received reports that the Nemo area was getting hid hard with snow Friday morning. It was difficult drive up Nemo road, with snow accumulation and winds.

Back on S Canyon Road, things were still a winter wonderland. Snow was accumulating on the ground, with a snowplow trying to clear the road Friday morning, but it was covered again within several minutes.

Ethan Culey says he's excited about the snow. Culey is a skier who says he hopes this early blizzard is a good seasonal sign. "It's weird that this is happening in October. We usually don't get it until later, but I'm excited. Maybe this means we'll get a good winter," said Culey.

Culey is one of many who was told not to come into work Friday because of the terrible road conditions.
